Why this account? (read on)

I'm keeping my commissions cut off from my other DA account to make it easier to show the sort of things I do on commission. Unlike my other account, I'm also adding to the scraps section to show progress and concept scans. (This helps me out when my website is down.) I'm just at a point where I'd like to keep business apart from my other work and for the sake of general organization.

There are other commissions I've done that I cannot show on DA, but if you're curious to find out where those are hosted, feel free to note me and I'll toss you a link if you're old enough to have it. (I'm talking adults-only work here.)

As for why my commissions status is currently closed, well, I need a break from taking them. I want to clear off my list of commissions to finish before I start in on taking any new ones - if I take them anymore cause frankly, though the majority of the commissioners I've worked with have been wonderful, I can still do withOUT the stress involved. Besides that, I know I'm not going to 'make my dreams' by doing illustrations for other people. My personal goals are in story telling and illustrating that which I write to see it through to publishing. (Not that I won't consider joining up on projects serious about being published but those offers don't come around enough to make me leave the status set to open. Basically, if you've got something big, feel free to bypass the status and email me directly.)
